A video tutorial on how to use the TAL-Filter-II plugin to get the Wah-Wah effect. This effects works best on guitars, electric pianos, synths, and it’s a good effect to use in G-Funk beats.

The TAL-Filter-II is a free plugin. The Wah-Wah effect is basically just the result of quickly adjusting cutoff frequency on a lowpass filter. Parameters you will need to adjust:
Cutoff Frequency curve: controls the filter cutoff. It’s automatically timed to the beat.
BPM factor: adjusts how fast the cutoff goes.
Modulation type: you can adjust what type of filter to use, or you can modulate the volume (get a tremolo sound), or panning.
Reso: adjusts the cutoff filter resonance.
Depth: adjusts how much of the effect is applied.

If you want to get some weird sounding synths for your beats, this is the plugin to use. You can add it multiple times to modulate filtering, volume and panning.
