A video explaining what chords to use in G-Funk beats and how to find them easily in the FL Studio menus.
Recommended chords: Minor/Major Ninth (m9/Maj9), Minor/Major 7th (m7/Maj7).
Just use some of these chords in your beats and you will get a smoother sound.
You can also add some effects. For G-Funk beats, if you’re using an electric piano sound, I’d recommend using a chorus effect (in this video I used the TAL-Chorus VST plugin).
